Susanne Trampnau joined the junior research group as a project assistant in November 2010.
Susanne Trampnau studied geography and environmental science at the University of Potsdam. Her focus was on anthropogeography, particularly in the areas of urban development and urban regeneration strategies and programmes. She dealt increasingly with issues of sustainability and environmental impacts from humans in her post-graduate programme "Sustainable Tourism Management" at the University of Applied Sciences in Eberswalde.
Susanne Trampnau worked as a student assistant in Department 4 "Regeneration of Cities and Towns" at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Development and Structural Planning in Erkner from July 2006 to December 2007. She also supported Department 3 "Dynamics of Communication, Knowledge and Spatial Development" from February 2010 to July 2010, as a research assistant in a research project that was realized with combinations of qualitative and quantitative methods. She gained further practical experience in the course of several internships in the public sector.
