Biographisches

Sarah Schomers ist seit 2009 am ZALF beschäftigt und hat in verschiedenen Forschungsprojekten gearbeitet. Im Rahmen des Forschungsprojektes CIVILand schreibt sie ihre kumulative Dissertation mit dem Arbeitstitel "Governance structures within payments for ecosystem services implementation: Efficiency, effectiveness and equity considerations from an institutional economic perspective".

Sarah Schomers studierte Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (Niederlande), Universidad de Valencia (Spanien), Universidad de Lima (Perú) und Freie Universität Berlin. Sie schloss sie das Studium mit der Masterarbeit "Participation in alternative trade coffee cooperatives: Empirical evidence from Northern Nicaragua" ab. Im Rahmen ihres Studiums arbeitete sie in einem DED/GTZ-Projekt in Loja/Ecuador mit und erstellte eine SWOT-Analyse über das Produktions- und Vermarktungspotential von Kaffee in der Region.
